What is the difference between booking your holiday online, a regular travel agent and an EPIC Travel Advisor?
People think that booking directly with the airline or using the internet is cheaper?
Unfortunately, it's usually not. Most of the “discount” websites don’t see live availability, so the price you see isn’t always what’s on offer.
As a travel agency, we have access to live availability, and the same pricing as the airlines.
Hotels aren't usually cheaper online ... and online doesn't tell you everything.
Likewise, people often think that booking a cruise or tour direct with the company is cheaper – it’s usually not.
Travel Agents have access to the same rates at the hotels, see the same sales and often have a few extra inclusions that you don’t get when you book direct.

People think that going to a travel agency means giving up your lunch-break, or trying to find time during business hours to visit a store or office, and waiting for someone to be available and then the agent rushing through your booking so they can see as many people in a day as possible.
As EPIC Travel Advisors, we work with you to find a time that is convenient and relaxed – including evenings and weekends. We can meet at your home, or your favourite café, or you’re welcome to visit us – this is your appointment and we want you to be comfortable and relaxed.
EPIC Travel Advisors don’t have sales targets they need to meet, we don’t have shareholders we need to earn dividends, we don’t have shopping centre rents, or a head office in a capital city.
We have also personal relationships with the industry professionals at the airlines, hotels, wholesalers, and tour companies we recommend and sell.
We have the time and flexibility to talk with you over a coffee, and we have less expenses than most travel businesses, which means we are priced competitively with other travel agencies and able to give you an Epic experience when booking your holiday.
